Look Who Dropped In!

We are about to start a new year. People like to think it’s about new beginnings and fresh starts. It’s really about buying a new calendar because the Earth made another lap around the Sun (and most people don’t even buy calendars anymore). But, thinking about the New Year and what’s important, a lot of people get focused on ‘resolutions’ and themselves and how they are going to improve going forward. Nothing wrong with that. However, it’s also good to look back and think about what’s important. As wedding photographers, for us, it can be pretty rewarding.

We’ve shot well over 325 weddings. That’s a lot of couples (over 650 people) and their families and friends. That’s a lot of new families just beginning, too! And we’ve seen many, many families grow! We don’t get to stay in contact with a lot of the people we work with after the album is delivered but there are quite a few we are able to stay in contact with or hire us for other photography. We do shoot family portraits when we have time, and, in November, we held a last minute Fall Portrait Day and in the mix we had a few past brides & grooms sign up. Keeping up with past couples and seeing their families do well and grow really makes us feel good about wedding photography & what we do. Nothing is more important than family. So, we thought we’d share a little of that with you!

Stephanie and Drew – Wedding at the Seelbach Hotel

Stephanie and Drew had a fantastic wedding at the Seelbach Hotel and Christ Church Cathedral in downtown, Louisville. Stephanie had a touching ‘reveal’ with her father before the ceremony and there were a lot of other tender moments throughout the day. Yeah, it was a good time.
