Alisha and Frank got ready at the Seelbach Hilton in Louisville, which is an awesome location for any part of the wedding day! The ceremony and reception were held at the Gillespie, which had been decorated beautifully with the assistance of Sharon Bell and Memorable Celebrations. Alisha and Frank had a fantastic wedding (with five super-cute flower girls) and it shows!
Courtney & Justin are a fun couple! They held their ceremony at St. Barnabas Church and their reception at the Gillespie in downtown Louisville. There is a little bit of story behind a few of the details. When Justin proposed, they were at the beach, and he had hidden the engagement ring in a large seashell he had purchased at a gift shop and had buried in the sand. He had pretended to discover the shell and dig it up with the engagement ring inside and then had proposed. Justin admits that finding a large, shiny gift shop shell buried on the beach seems unlikely, but you can bet the proposal was still a huge a surprise! Also, Courtney gave Justin a guitar at the rehearsal dinner and on the wedding day she gave him a pair of golden guitar picks to commemorate the day!
Alyssa and Harlen were marred on March 12, 2011, at the Gillespie in downtown Louisville, KY. It was a beautiful day and everything went well. As it turned out, after Alyssa and Harlen had set their wedding date, a Lady Gaga concert was scheduled nearby at the Yum Center for the same night. So, they adjusted their wedding timeline for the day and bought tickets! They were featured on the local news as they marched over to the Yum Center that night to see Lady Gaga. It was all very exciting!
