Lauren & Walt had their ceremony at Duncan Memorial and the reception at the Seelbach Hilton Hotel in downtown Louisville. The weather was a bit chilly and there was some sleet, but they toughed it out and had a lot of fun outside for portraits. Here are a few images from their wedding!
Laura and Gabriel were marred at the The Grand in New Albany, IN, on February 26, 2011. The weather was a little chilly and they spent most of the day inside having fun, but we did manage to slip outside for a few shots that night!
Jackie & Brian were married on November 20, 2010. The day began at the Seelbach Hilton in downtown Louisville where they both got prepared for the day. They decided to see each other before the ceremony. ( This is something we encourage because it allows the bride and groom to have a special moment early in the day, creates beautiful photos, and generally puts them at ease afterward.) They shared their moment on the street outside of the Seelbach, and afterward, we had time for a few portraits and then the bridal party hopped on a trolley and stopped at a couple locations downtown for pictures before heading to Concordia Lutheran Church for the ceremony. After the formal portraits, we attended the reception at the Kosair Shriner Center Ballroom which was a lot of fun. Jackie & Brian are such a sweet couple and they compliment each other well! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and photographing their wedding.

Amber and Nathan’s ceremony took place on Nathan’s grandparents farm in Owenton, KY. They incorporated many sentimental things at both the ceremony and reception, such as quilts made by Nathan’s grandmother, an old mailbox covered in pictures, and a barn built by Nathan’s late grandfather. Wildflowers in mason jars sat atop the stumps of an old oak tree that formerly stood on the spot they had exchanged their vows. It was a beautiful location for a ceremony. Even though it rained off and on (and even during the actual ceremony) Amber wasn’t afraid to move about the farm in her wedding dress and heels! Here are just a few images from their wedding day.
We shot Stephanie & Mike’s wedding in New Pekin, IN, on their farm on Saturday. It was a beautiful wedding with awesome decorations! The ceremony was on the dock by the pond, with a cocktail hour in the barn with full bar, and the reception in an elegantly decorated tent with a live band! We’ll have a full post soon! But here is the last shot I took before we left. Our gear was next to the stage and as I packed up I just happened to look up and take in the awesome colors!
