Why We Do It

Weddings are a big deal! They are events with months in the planning and, often, a lifetime in the dreaming. We get to spend the day with two families and their friends and capture all of the wonderful moments that they share. It’s a lot of fun and very rewarding.

How We Do It

We work hard! I don’t think any photographers could work harder before, during, or after the wedding day. We put a lot of time and hard work into every wedding collection.  All of our images get the e-touch!  Our clients probably don’t realize how much hard work we put into delivering their products. Maybe they just think it’s magic. They know we make great pictures and deliver fantastic products. That’s enough for us.

Because we are awesome! Our wedding coverage is a little bit different. Our technique is an artistic blend of photojournalist style and stunning portraiture. What’s that mean? It means we hang back and capture a lot of creative candid shots, and when it’s time for portraits, we rock it out and craft our trademark breathtaking portraits with a natural feel! How could you not need that?

What We Aren’t

We ain’t yo mama’s photographer. We aren’t just a couple of button-pushers, there to run down a shot list. We love meeting & exceeding client requests, but we need trust and a degree of creative control.  We are professional photographers with experience shooting over 250 weddings together. We know what we are doing. We invest a lot of time in perfecting our craft through practice, experimentation, seminars, workshops, soul-selling, and magic. To produce our best work, we need the artistic freedom to do what we do best. We want to work with you, not just for you. We only ask that you trust us, relax, and have fun.

What Is Our Style

It’s awesome. I probably already said that. However, our wedding coverage doesn’t fit in a simple category. We document the wedding day with an unobtrusive photojournalist style and that is a big part of it. We do our best to stay out of the way, and although we don’t hide, you likely won’t notice us when we don’t want you to. But, we also realize that the wedding day is not just about two people; it is about two families. So, while we may strive to capture moments as they happen, we are more than willing to warmly engage your family and friends in conversation or capture any requested photos for which they may ask. We certainly don’t hide behind the camera. We want to be friendly and fun, so that both you and your guests are at ease around us. And we also like to create beautiful, natural portraits and we can do it just about anywhere, using natural light or our assortment of lighting tools which we always have handy. And we know you want us to capture moments and create portraits, but we also know you want to look your best at the same time. And that is something we do very well. We always work hard to deliver the most beautiful images we can in any situation.
